About Antons Adamovičs

When it comes to his educational background, Antons Adamovičs has a B.Sc. degree in Infection Biology which he received at the University of Glasgow. He is also an alumnus of the prestigious Skolkovo Startup Academy. With such an experience, it becomes relatively clear why he had chosen to get involved in the bio-technology market.

In 2012, with a help from two scientists, Tālis Juhna and Linda Mežule, he established Conelum – a company specializing in promoting the EloKIT™ technology which makes food products quality tests much easier. This revolutionary method of rapid microbiological detection is based on obtaining accurate qualitative and quantitative information on the product in a period between 30 minutes and 6 hours – a huge step forward comparing to traditional tests on Petri dishes which usually take from more than 24 hours up until 5 days. The EloKIT™ technology is particularly relevant to the companies specializing in dairy or meat products which have a limited period of shelf life. Conelum helps food companies to avoid the risks of recalls, as well as protects their customers from the negative consequences of unlikely events of outbreaks.
