New Europe 100 is looking for innovators
Nominations are open for Central and Eastern European innovators, movers and shakers for the third edition of the New Europe 100 Challengers list. Suggestions may be submitted via ne100.org and social media by Septemeber 15th.
The creators of a flying car, an app for refugees, cheap medical tests, promoters of entrepreneurship among young people - these are only some examples of challengers from the previous editions of the New Europe 100 list.
New Europe 100 recognizes leaders in innovation - individuals or teams from the region whose work is showing a big positive impact in any given field, improving people's lives with ideas that scale up in the digital world. The challengers, with their courage for innovation, new-tech expertise, unique skills, and social outreach, are having a global impact. The New Europe 100 is also a platform for dialogue and cooperation for all of the challengers - New Europe 100 innovators meets periodically in Budapest, Warsaw or Prague, as well as participate in events such as Brain Bar Budapest or Krynica Economic Forum. This allows for closer relations, but also cross-fertilization and improvement of their ideas on social initiatives, democratic solutions and business ventures.
New Europe 100 is organized by Res Publica together with Google and the Visegrad Fund, and in cooperation with the Financial Times and dozens of institutions from Central and Eastern Europe.
